About the program

The Victorian Government has committed a further $5.3 million for the Multicultural Seniors Support Program for the 2026–28 financial years.

Funding supports activities that reduce isolation and foster community connections. Funding can be used for:

  • social and cultural activities
  • improving seniors’ digital accessibility and literacy
  • providing practical support
  • purchasing essential equipment and resources
  • running costs.

Organisations who receive funding through the program will continue to receive Public Liability Insurance and Group Personal Accident Insurance.

Funding

Grants will be provided as direct funding offers to eligible multicultural seniors' organisations who were awarded funding as part of the 2025–26 Multicultural Seniors Support Program.

Eligible multicultural seniors’ organisations who were not awarded funding as part of the 2025–26 Multicultural Seniors Support Program are still welcome to register their interest.
