Victorian Multicultural Honour Roll 

The Victorian Multicultural Honour Roll recognises newly-arrived migrants and refugees who are leaders in their community and volunteer their time towards multicultural initiatives. The award recipient will have made an outstanding contribution to fostering understanding between different cultural groups. They may also be eligible for a $3,000 project grant from the Victorian Multicultural Commission.

Selection Criteria

  • Demonstrates outstanding leadership and volunteering qualities that support cultural diversity in Victoria and have helped create a harmonious multicultural state.


Individuals who arrived in Australia as a refugee, humanitarian entrant or migrant in the last 10 years and are a permanent resident or citizen of Australia currently residing in Victoria. Self-nominations are not accepted.

Please Note: Nominations in all other categories will also be considered for the Multicultural Honour Roll.
