MMYN pic -119Join the Multicultural Multifaith Youth Network
The Victorian Multicultural Commission (VMC) and the Office for Youth (OFY) are recruiting for the second term of Multifaith Multicultural Youth Network (MMYN). The MMYN was established in September 2007 to focus on issues relevant to young people of diverse faiths and cultures. The MMYN provide advice to the Victorian Government on a range of multifaith, multicultural youth issues and initiatives through the VMC and OFY. Refugee Support Package

The Victorian Government recently committed $4.7 million to a Refugee Support Package to be implemented by the Department for Victorian Communities, through the Victorian Multicultural Commission partnership with the Department of Human Services.


Cultural Precincts

The Victorian Government recently committed $8 million to enhance Melbourne’s three major cultural precincts, Little Bourke Street Chinatown precinct, Lygon Street Italian precinct and Lonsdale Street Greek precinct. Learn more about Cultural Precincts.

The VMC regularly holds consultations with communities across Victoria about a wide range of issues. Whether an issue affects one community or number of communities, the VMC ensures everyone has the opportunity to voice their concerns and share their ideas.
