Onam Festival celebrations

Mr Chidambaram Srinivasan, VMC Commissioner,  recently celebrated Onam with the Melbourne Malayalee Federation at their Onam Festival in September.

More than 700 people joined the festivities with special guests including Indian comedy and film artist Kalabhavan Navas and Indian Consul-General Dr. Subhakanta Behera.

The cultural program included dance performances by Natysudha Dance Academy (Tara Rajkumar), Skanda Matha School of Dances and Aparna Iype's Dance groups.
