Fire Awareness Awards – apply now!

The Fire Awareness Awards recognise the great work and initiatives of individuals, groups, and organisations that reduce the effects of fire in Victoria.
There are 15 award categories for completed projects (projects completed in the past two years can apply), with grants of up to $10,000 on offer for developing projects. Projects can apply for multiple awards and grants.
There is also a Community - Multicultural Category aimed at a fire project by a community group or individual that supports the needs of a multicultural community.
Applications for the Fire Awareness Awards close 2 October 2012.
The awards are a collaborative project between the Country Fire Authority, Metropolitan Fire and Emergency Services Board, Department of Sustainability and Environment and Fire Services Commissioner.
