Promoting Harmony
Victoria leads the way when it comes to people from different faiths and cultures living side by side in harmony, thanks to a range of initiatives. Since 2006, the Victorian Government's community harmony investment has instituted a range of initiatives to support multifaith activities, promote respect and understanding of different faiths and cultures in order to enhance community harmony.
Awards and Recognition Programs
In acknowledging the achievements and outstanding contributions made by migrants and refugees, the VMC aims to encourage greater awareness and respect for our cultural diversity.

OMAC works with two advisory bodies that provide advice on issues and initiatives relating to the promotion of multifaith and multicultural harmony in Victoria - the Multifaith Advisory Group and the Multifaith Multicultural Youth Network.
