DIAC coverThe People of Victoria: Statistics from the 2006 Census is a major compilation of statistics on birthplace, language, religion and ancestry from the 2006 Census. The report is part of the wider Department of Immigration and Multicultural Affairs’ (DIAC) project for the production of separate reports for each State and Territory, including one for all of Australia. These complementary volumes enable comparison of data across States/Territories. The report is presented in four sections. It is only available in electronic format for free download.
